Mayway is known in the industry for having the best selection of certified fumigant-free herbs, which are used to make these teapills. Sulfites and other additives can concentrate into the final product, and very few companies which make products out of bulk Chinese herbs know what is going into them. Contraindicated for very weak or deficient patients. Contraindicated during pregnancy and menstruation. Use with caution in breast-feeding women as Da huang/rhubarb can pass through the breast milk causing colic and diarrhea in infants. May cause mild abdominal cramping and/or diarrhea in sensitive patients. Use with caution in Spleen deficient patients with a tendency to loose stools, diarrhea, poor appetite or chronic digestive weakness. Contains gluten.
