A large part of Ancient Way Acupuncture & Herbs, Inc. is our medical clinic,
which is subject to patient confidentiality and strict notions of
privacy. We extend that respect for personal information to our
Internet and telephone customers. AncientWay.com uses the high security settings
for its shopping cart, through one of the main leaders in secure
shopping cart technologies. Credit card numbers are
rarely, if ever, printed onto paper. If they are, they are shredded
after use, unless you request us to keep your card on file. Only our top qualified staff ever sees your card
and order information, and only for billing purposes. Any billing
information is password protected on secure servers behind a double firewall.
We never sell or give any of your personal information to other
businesses, with the understandable exceptions of shipping companies which you request and our tax preparer who has signed a privacy agreement. If you have requested a certain product or
certain information, you may receive a related e-mail if there is
something relevant to share in the future. However, we never spam
people, and we listen to you if you tell us not to send you e-mail.
Some of the products we sell are of a sensitive nature. We attempt to be
as respectful and modest as possible with our packaging and labelling.
